The Wits School of Arts are looking for 2 animated short films to screen in their ‘rotating’ exhibition room at the Fak’ugesi African Digital Innovation Festival in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. The festival aims to explore and celebrate technology and creativity by Africans for Africa.

What they are looking for:

  • Short animated films (less than 8 minutes long)
  • African themed content preferable (but not essential)
  • HD resolution
  • A brief (word) document outlining the synopsis for the film and short credits list. You can include any other relevant information in this document (e.g. the College/School it was created at; artist bio; etc).

Submissions from students or professionals are welcome!

Submissions are open. The deadline to submit a film is 5 August 2016. Please forward a link to the film online ONLY. Download links (i.e. dropbox/wetransfer) are also accepted. Please do not email films.
